1. What we sell

Placefront ("we", "us") builds websites for local businesses. The one-time fee of $450 ($399 for orders placed through October 31, 2026, while that promotion is shown on our site) covers a website of up to five pages, a domain name registered for you, email forwarding, mobile testing, basic search-engine setup, and two rounds of revisions. Optional monthly services (hosting and updates at $15/month, with online booking included, and a Google Workspace mailbox at +$10/mo) are billed monthly and can be cancelled any time.

2. The free preview

The instant preview on our homepage is generated automatically from the public information on a business's Google listing. It is a demonstration, not a finished product, and nothing is published or purchased until you place an order. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep from it.

3. Ordering and payment

An order is placed when you pay the $50 deposit. Work begins then. We post a draft on your private order page, usually within two to three business days and no later than five. A revision is one batch of change requests sent together; two rounds are included. Further changes are quoted before any work starts. The balance ($349 at the launch price, $400 at the regular price) is due when you approve the draft and before the site goes live; the domain is registered and the site published once it is paid.

4. Refunds

If, after two rounds of revisions, you are not satisfied with the draft, the deposit is refunded in full. Once the balance is paid and the site is live, the build fees are non-refundable. Monthly services are cancellable at any time and are not refunded for the current billing period.

5. Ownership

You own your website and your domain name. We register the domain on your behalf and hold it only while we host your site; on request we will transfer it to you or to any registrar you choose at no charge. If you cancel hosting, we will provide the complete site files. We retain no rights to your content, name, photos, or reviews.

6. Your content

You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, or logos you provide, and that the information on your site (including hours, services, and claims about your business) is accurate. You are responsible for the content of your site once it is live.

Your site uses only photos you give us or images we create for you. We don't use photos from your Google listing on your site. Where you don't have a photo, we make an illustration in your colors, or, if you ask for one, an AI-generated image that you approve first. AI images show the kind of work you do; we never present them as your own jobs, staff, or premises.

7. Monthly services

Hosting includes keeping the site online, security updates, backups, online booking, your site editor for changing text and photos yourself, and help with small changes on request. Your monthly plan starts when you pay the balance, and your first month is included: the first monthly charge is 30 days later, then monthly. You can update your card or cancel anytime from your order page ("Manage your plan"). Cancelling hosting takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which we will provide your site files and, if asked, transfer your domain.

8. Limits of liability

We will do careful, honest work, but we cannot guarantee particular search rankings, traffic, or business results. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Orders are governed by the terms in effect on the date they are placed.
